The complete Praise Kit user manual

A click-by-click walkthrough for collecting, moderating, and embedding your Wall of Love.

Step 1

Collect testimonials

Every Wall of Love you create gets its own unique collection link, visible on its card in the dashboard (e.g. praisekit.app/collect/your-wall-id).

  1. 1Open the dashboard and find the wall you want to collect for.
  2. 2Click 'Copy collection link' on that wall's card — the link is copied to your clipboard instantly.
  3. 3Share the link anywhere: a post-purchase email, an order confirmation page, a Slack/Discord community, or a QR code on packaging.
  4. 4When a customer opens the link, they see a star-rating selector (1–5 stars), a name field, an optional title/company field, a review text box, and an optional profile photo uploader.
  5. 5After they submit, they see a thank-you confirmation — their testimonial is saved immediately as 'Pending' and is NOT yet visible on your public wall.

Step 2

Moderate & approve reviews

Nothing a customer submits goes live automatically — you review and toggle every testimonial yourself from the dashboard.

  1. 1Open the dashboard and click on a wall's card to expand its testimonial list.
  2. 2Each submission shows the reviewer's name, star rating, photo (if provided), and full review text, tagged 'Pending' until you act on it.
  3. 3Click the green 'Approve' button to publish a testimonial live to your public Wall of Love immediately — no redeploy or refresh needed on the embedded page.
  4. 4If a review needs to come down later, click 'Unapprove' on an approved testimonial to instantly hide it again without deleting it.
  5. 5To permanently remove spam or unwanted submissions, click the red trash/delete icon — this is irreversible, so use Unapprove first if you just want to hide it temporarily.

Step 3

Embed your Wall of Love

One HTML snippet is all you need to show your live, auto-updating wall anywhere on the web.

  1. 1On the wall's card in the dashboard, click 'Copy iframe snippet'.
  2. 2The snippet is a self-contained <iframe> pointing at your wall's public /embed/[id] route — paste it into any HTML or embed block on your site.
  3. 3The embedded wall always reflects your latest approvals — when you approve or unapprove a testimonial in the dashboard, the public embed updates without you touching any code again.
  4. 4See the platform-specific guides below for exact click paths in Framer, Webflow, WordPress, and Wix/Squarespace.

Platform-specific embed guides

Exact click paths for the most common site builders.

Framer

  1. 1.Open your Framer project and go to the page/section you want the wall on.
  2. 2.In the left Insert panel, search for 'Embed' and drag the Embed component onto the canvas.
  3. 3.Click the Embed component, then click 'HTML' in the layer settings that appear.
  4. 4.Paste the copied <iframe> snippet exactly as-is into the HTML text box.
  5. 5.Drag the component's corner handles (or set width to 100% / Fill) so it spans your content area.
  6. 6.Click 'Publish' in the top-right to push the change to your live site.

Webflow

  1. 1.Open the Webflow Designer and navigate to the page you want to edit.
  2. 2.Open the Add panel (the '+' icon), go to the 'Embed' category, and drag an 'Embed' element onto the canvas.
  3. 3.Double-click the Embed element — a code editor modal opens.
  4. 4.Paste the <iframe> snippet into the modal and click 'Save & Close'.
  5. 5.Resize the embed block in the Designer (set width to 100%) to match your layout.
  6. 6.Click 'Publish' in the top-right corner and choose your live domain to push it live.

WordPress

  1. 1.Open the page or post in the WordPress editor (Gutenberg).
  2. 2.Click the '+' block inserter and search for 'Custom HTML', then add that block.
  3. 3.Paste the <iframe> snippet directly into the Custom HTML block's text area.
  4. 4.Click 'Preview' in the top toolbar to confirm the wall renders correctly.
  5. 5.Click 'Update' (existing page) or 'Publish' (new page) to make it live.

Wix / Squarespace

  1. 1.Wix: open the Editor, click '+ Add Elements', choose 'Embed Code' → 'Embed a Widget' / 'HTML iframe'.
  2. 2.Squarespace: in the page editor, click an insert point, choose 'Code' from the block menu.
  3. 3.Paste the <iframe> snippet into the provided code box for either platform.
  4. 4.Drag the embed's resize handles so it fills the width of your section.
  5. 5.Click 'Save' (Wix) or close the block editor (Squarespace), then 'Publish' your site.
